Works for piano by György Ligeti and his predecessors Franz Liszt and Béla Bartók.
Young pianists from the Chios Music High School, the Aegeas Conservatory, the National Conservatory – Chios Branch and the “Echohromata” Conservatory, worked with pianist Konstantinos Destounis and present Ligeti’s Musica Ricercata and other works for piano-4 hands. Ligeti’s music is preceded by works of Franz Liszt and Bella Bartók offering a program that exhibits a fabulous line up of Hungarian composers spanning the 19th and 20th centuries.
